Best Academic Tutoring Center In WA in Bellevue, WA
Our online academic tutoring agency is known for providing students with the best test prep and student counseling services to achieve their educational goals. At Summit Academy, our tutors don’t only talk the talk but also walk the walk. They have scored in the 95% percentile on the exams for which they prep students and have obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees. In addition, they are fully trained in Summit’s nonpareil curricula and methods. At Summit, our philosophy is that the best tutors are those who have already achieved their goals, are working towards new goals, and are adept at transferring their experience, knowledge, skills, and techniques.
We provide some of the best test prep services in town. These services are:
SAT Test Preparation:Many colleges, particularly the more selective ones, require or recommend certain SAT Subject Tests. These hour-long, multiple choice tests are offered in 21 subject areas, including English, Math, Science, and History. Unlike the AP exams, SAT Subject Tests are offered throughout the year on the same testing dates as the SAT, with the exception of March test dates. Just like any other standardized test, our tutors ensure that students learn not just the material covered by the subject tests but also cover test-taking strategies to improve performance and bolster confidence
PSAT(Preliminary SAT Test):The Preliminary SAT (PSAT) often catches students and their families by surprise. Taken before students sit for the SAT or ACT, the PSAT is designed to predict future performance on college admissions exams
SSAT/ISEE:Instructors at Summit Academy specialize in preparing students for private middle and high school entrance tests. For students in grades 3 through 11, the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) and the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) test assess the basic verbal, math, and reading skills of students to provide a standardized measure in the academic setting.
CogAT(Cognitive Ability Test):CogAT stands for “cognitive abilities test” and is used to measure students’ aptitude. It is also used to identify gifted students for admission into accelerated/advanced academic programs. With Summit Academy, your student will acquire the reasoning and problem-solving skills necessary to take the verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal sections of the CogAT with confidence.
AP: Advanced Placement courses are among the most challenging courses offered at the high school level, and students with good scores on the final AP Exams can earn college credit. Unlike college admissions tests like the SAT or ACT, AP Exams are offered only once a year (in May), meaning students face incredible pressure to succeed on these tests.
