Manager, Occupancy Planning for Seattle/Bellevue - Global Real Estate & Facilities

As a member of the Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) team overseeing corporate office space, this position will lead occupancy planning for Seattle & Bellevue.
This role combines team leadership with strategic occupancy and migration planning, while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
The successful candidate must operate as a true partner to our customers--both employees and business leaders, Project Managers, Finance, HR, Security, IT and other functional areas and establish highly integrated relationships with vendor partners.
The optimal candidate is an experienced, vibrant, and engaging professional who will excel within an entrepreneurial culture - providing vision, leadership, and communication - not afraid to dive deep into details.
They should also understand the nuance of being approachable, while at the same time consultative- providing direction/recommendations and fostering transparent relationships.
The candidate must be able to balance frugality with creativity in offering solutions and approach problem-solving with an emphasis on root cause.
An ideal candidate is able to navigate ambiguity and demonstrate a bias for action, taking calculated risks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Continuous evaluation of current space programming, utilization, and move planning for existing real estate portfolio.
Headcount growth projection tracking with Finance, Space Teams, HR & Recruiting.
Occupancy planning scenario development using headcount growth projections, building stack plans, and future pipeline supply to develop 1-3 year growth plans.
Develop plans for restack, reshuffle, or moves for teams.
Coordinate new openings with design and construction project managers as well as move/launch project teams.
Engage with customer / business leaders to get approval for proposed moves or restacks.
Gather specialized program requirements from customers to be implemented in building design and layout.
Coordinate with Amazon workplace design and construction teams as it relates to implementing special customer needs and programming considerations, such as specialty labs, accommodations, or new initiatives.
Aid in the development of occupancy planning processes and tools for GREF and space program managers.
Provide regular tracking and reporting of space metrics, portfolio health and customer facing reporting.
Partner with AMER Occupancy Planning team to build consistent process and tools.
Establish and maintain open, positive relationships with employees, finance managers, business leaders, and vendor partners.
Lead and develop vendor team, providing mentorship and removing roadblocks.
Work cross functionally with a wide range of teams including but not limited to IT, Security, Design & Construction, Workplace, and Events.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
