Desktop Support Specialist
This is a contract to hire position.
Responsible for the support of the desktop environment including installation, documentation, technical services and user support.
Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve end user hardware, software, network and telecom problems.
Provide support to ensure all on-site network and server hardware are running properly.
Provide basic user administration of Windows 2008 Active Directory.
Administers backup tape rotation in the off-site Irvine data center.
Works with our 3rd party storage vendor to coordinate storing tapes off site for safe keeping.
Administers and troubleshoots mobile devices such as Apple IPhones, Ipads and Android smart phones.
Acts as the point of contact with end users.
Troubleshoots computers and other office equipment onsite and offsite.
Trains employees onsite and remotely.
Provides end-user support.
Performs computer equipment, servers, network and mobile phone inventory and maintenance.
Provides PC support for hardware and software issues.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
