As VP Product Management, will lead our product line consisting of a talented group of product and engineering associates to design and execute on a truly agile roadmap for success. You will be responsible for leading teams across all aspects of product delivery (product strategy, product definition, release and roadmap planning, engineering). You will also be responsible for driving interactions with other teams such as sales, pre-sales, product marketing, training, professional services and product support for all aspects related to your product line. You will be responsible for operating P&L for the product line, with revenue goals, and budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Have a vision for product that far transcends what is visible today.
Lead a team that that identifies and forecasts market opportunities ahead of time, analyze findings and present alternatives. Team is comprised of product and business analysts, product management and technical resources.
Develop, maintain and execute an 18-24 month product road map, and lead team to create business use cases based on these road maps; or each business use case, create business requirements, functional and technical specifications.
Manage product lifecycle from ideation to maturity by optimizing feature selection in release roadmap
Ensure customer value based decisions are made with respect to product development of feature set and market timing.
Develop world-class teams. Develop top product-centric talent who are creative, collaborative, results-oriented and culturally aligned with Edifecs' entrepreneurial DNA and mission.
Drive to revenue targets while managing costs of development and implementation
Responsible for development of solution stack based on architecture team's guidance and product roadmap. Overall responsibility for quality of product.
Proactively collect customer feedback on product features/functions/usability/performance, analyze such feedback and initiate necessary actions, communicating with customers and other stakeholders
Engage with customers and prospects through sales lifecycle, supporting sales and solution consulting teams.
Engage with customers after sales to get insights from customers' use of product and incorporate learning into future releases
Particpate and present Edifecs points of view and product strategy in industry events and other forums as a subject matter expert and product expert.
REQUIRED SKILL SET & EXPERIENCE
BA/BS in Business, computer Science or related field, MS or MBA preferred
Prior experience in leading high performance, customer-obsessed enterprise product teams
A seasoned player / coach who can roll up their sleeves and jump in where needed
Have demonstrated track record of building and launching massively successful products that customers love.

Proven cross-functional management of work within a matrixed and virtual environment
Demonstrated strategy formulation and implementation skills, solid understanding of product P&L, and value realization of product features

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
An appreciation for the business-facing elements of innovation and product management with clear realization that pursuit of financial outcomes is only a result of exceptional execution and excellent customer experiences.
Preparing business cases for senior management after careful evaluation of relevant business alternatives
Ability to conceptualize and understand solution architecture
Expertise in all phases of product lifecycle
Engineering skills or evidence of effectively managing highly competent technical associates
Ability to drive / support product marketing initiatives including messaging, content, positioning and sales enablement
Leading, coaching and mentoring team of technical resources, including effective hiring and performance management skills
