Senior Computational Linguist
Responsible for developing and enhancing cutting-edge speech technology.
This role requires a strong background in computational linguistics with a particular heavy focus on Phonetics and Natural Language Processing. Develop and optimize speech recognition grammars for several commercial Automatic Speech Recognition engines. Train and maintain large vocabulary Statistical Language Models on large data sets. Analyze and refine phonetic data. Work closely with external resources for phonetic data in multiple languages. Work closely with internal resources on localization of VBT products. Prototyping of new features and technology enhancements.
Master's degree in Computational Linguistics or Computer Science, plus one (1) year of experience as a Computational Linguist or Software Developer including:
Programming with Perl, Python, and C++

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
