Position Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer who will find new ways to delight our users & help conceptualize and build the next generation of our advertising products. We work in small teams with the freedom to creatively define and solve problems. Responsibilities:
oDevelop clear, elegant, and maintainable code primarily using Java, Scala, and scripting languages such as Ruby or Python
oDesign scalable, fault tolerant software components for serving ads
oWork with product and engineering teams to leverage the latest technologies and define new platform features
Requirements:
o3-4 years of software development experience, Java preferred
oStructured approach to development (measuring, monitoring, and testing) and a deep understanding of object oriented design
oSolid grasp of algorithms and data structures
oProficient with Unix/Linux operating systems
oBS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Desired
oGitHub profile and/or contributions to the open source community
oKnowledge of operating system internals, file systems, compilers
oExperience with online advertising
oExperience with distributed systems
