Technical Project Manager
The Enterprise Data Warehouse Engineering team is looking for an experienced, highly motivated, self-directed Technical Project Manager. The ideal candidate is passionate about travel, maintaining a high quality bar for software, building great products with focus on delivery and quality, and revolutionizing business through data analytics. As part of the EDW, you get to participate in the transformation of the warehouse into a world-class real-time analytics, data-driven, business intelligence and monetization group. You'll get to work on a software stack dealing with large petabyte scale data-sets, doing millions of queries a day, on large clusters aggregating data from all points of sale across the globe!
The TPM in the EDW will work closely with Developers, Architects, Testers and Product Owners, and get an opportunity to plan and orchestrate multiple simultaneous and complex projects to influence product quality. Together with your team members, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding products on schedule that meet the needs of the business and the Product Owners. Additionally the successful candidate will work closely with architecture and the Product Owners on new features and next-generation product planning.

Key Responsibilities
oManage the timeline and deliverables across teams and geographies for a team of over 90
oWork with leaders to develop the resourcing plan, milestones, and delivery dates in an agile environment
oAid in the scrum planning for all sprint teams and coordinate multi-team project workloads
oSet expectations for (and with) the team and hold people and teams accountable for deliverables and schedules
oManage the team and dependencies to the plan
oWork with leadership team to quickly adjust and adapt the plan to changing conditions
oProvide transparent communication up, down, and across the organization
Qualifications
o3
years' experience in project/program management development with a track record of shipping large cross-functional projects in a high scale, global always-on environment
oA high degree of creativity and innovation, with proven ability to derive & articulate pragmatic solutions solving complex business problems
oTeam centric with solid collaboration & communication skills, with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced diverse and global team environment
oExperience in managing design & development of data products and analysis tools, with a passion for usability, simplicity, and performance
oExperience coordinating multiple simultaneous projects with overlapping schedules and dependencies
oExperience in business and operational data analytics with a bias for hands-on research, monitoring, and drive for continuous improvement of customer experience & quality product operations.
oA bias for results amidst an Agile/Iterative development environment fueled by a culture of continuous learning and reinforced by Rapid Application development methodologies - Agile, Scrum, Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery, Multi-Variant Testing, etc.
oSolid experience with the technology-driven environments and rapid technology evolution
oTechnical leadership with bias for engineering excellence fostered by a culture of continuous improvement in customer experience, engineering design patterns, and development processes.
oExperience in ecommerce and/or online travel industries and/or marketing/SEM/SEO tools/technologies.
oExperience in ecommerce analytics tools and best practices
oMSCS or BSCS, or related engineering discipline, strongly preferred.
