The Strategy Analyst role offers this mix in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will support the extended leadership team located in Expedia offices around the world, and will be responsible for supporting key initiatives across the GSO organization. In addition, this candidate will take on an active role in supporting the organization from a communication and scorecard perspective. You will have the opportunity to support the development and execution of strategic initiatives across a region, product line, and/or point of sale by investigating and researching new business opportunities; and assisting in executing strategic, cross-functional projects.
We are looking for someone who has an ability to organize people and processes, and an ability to lead groups toward a single goal. You must have the ability to communicate well and inspire employees to achieve objectives.
Responsibilities:
oBuild and manage a communication plans
oDrive creation of PowerPoint presentations materials for leader and team to support strategic projects
oLead project planning efforts to determine project scope, staffing needs, scheduling; identify risks and issues; and develop contingency plans
oFacilitate the project kick-off with project team members and appropriate stakeholders.
oHelp define framework, processes and metrics the team is measured against
oIn coordination with project team members and resource managers, as appropriate, manage the day-to-day details of project(s), including the plan, schedule, resources, task assignments, scope, budget, and risks.
oSupport business needs by leading the effort to develop creative approaches to problem solving and ensuring quality deliverables.
oReport schedule, budget, and delivery details to project stakeholders.
oMaintain project management deliverables, including the project plan, project schedule, status reports, meeting minutes, issue logs, and any other documentation related to the management and administration of the project.
oAssist in leading rhythm of business cadence including weekly staff, monthly business reviews, and team off-sites
oCoordinate relationships with key partner groups. Foster open communication within the team on project planning and execution by facilitating project meetings focused on status reporting, problem resolution, and feedback.
oManage ad-hoc projects on behalf of the team
oPromote and manage the GSO Rewards and Recognition program

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
