Sr. Web Designer (Front-end Developer)

We''re building a team of designers that eat, sleep, and breathe web design and the technology that shapes it. If you are the type that tears down product design to understand what makes something beautiful and effective, then you''ve found your home.
As a Sr. Web Designer focused on technology, we''re looking for:
A passion for rapidly prototyping experiences for user studies as part of an iterative design process
Experience architecting reusable UI components and flexible, sustainable HTML/CSS
Experience driving design processes and front-end coding standards within a product -- ultimately influencing its strategic direction
An advanced understanding of fundamental user-centered, usability, and aesthetic design principles
Technically speaking, we''re looking for:
Expert semantic HTML, CSS and JavaScript that works on any device
Up-to-date understanding of emerging W3C standards (HTML5, CSS3, etc)
Experience working with JavaScript frameworks to create rich interactive content (jQuery etc)
Extensive knowledge of cross-browser/multi-device support
Experience using version control (preferably Git)
Experience with CSS pre-processors (LESS etc)
Solid understanding of Web Accessibility
Extra points if you have:
ever contributed to a code library or framework
expert knowledge of template languages such as Handlebars
