We are seeking a senior healthcare domain expert for the role of Edifecs Product Architect. The Product Architect is responsible for providing strategic architecture guidance for Edifecs solutions as well as undertaking hands-on work required of a product architect. This role will be responsible for managing business & product strategic vision, defining an integrated business view of the ecosystem - its functional requirements and associated business processes - and following through with implementation across technical teams. The role requires the individual to function as a Product Manager for the Edifecs Partnership Platform defining and prioritizing technical capabilities required for delivering business solutions. This requires strong leadership skills, to be able to lead by influence, earn the trust of a strong product and technical architect community, and successfully lead in a matrixed environment. This role will be sought out to provide strategic leadership and advice within Edifecs. The Product Architect will work closely with product owners, solution & Engineering architects, business functional experts, developers, implementation teams and clients to design innovative solutions to take our software to the next generation, by incorporating leading edge technologies into the product and by making build versus buy decisions in order to maintain and grow the market share of our product. Top candidates for this position will leverage the company strategy to architect new product solutions and features. Excellent communication skills are imperative in this role as you will be communicating frequently with customers to understand their requirements and to present our product vision and will be participating in business development activities including producing marketing materials, presentations and proposals.
Responsibilities Represents single point of contact for developing and maintaining Product Blueprints containing information such as functional and technology capabilities, best practices and reference architectures. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, architects from cross-functional areas and functional SME's to create Reference Solutions that document integrated business view of the system, its functional requirements and associated business processes which will subsequently be used to guide and govern system configuration and customer implementations.
Partners with Platform and Product Engineering teams to drive the implementation of technical capabilities requires to realize Products.
Understand business processes, system configuration and evaluating them against new system capabilities & best industry practices, recommend improvements/optimizations.
Evaluates & reviews proposed Product design; including Customer implementations, customizations and Responses to Proposals; and determines strengths and weaknesses of the overall architecture, implementation and suitability; recommends solutions to ensure consistency with the company vision and strategy.
Ensures technical feedback from architects, developers, and product managers are brought back to executive team.
Guide and influence creation and prioritization of the Technology roadmap supporting product solutions.
Proactively engage stakeholders to keep track of customer issues and limitations of products and work proactively throughout the organization to determine complexity, product exposure, and root cause resolution.
Ensures all new product deployments, enhancements and changes comply with Edifecs product guidelines and standards.
Works with Product Owners to define the Value Tree for Products / Product lines.
Functions as the Product subject matter expert and product engineering knowledgebase.
Plays the role of the business liaison to other departments on product definition issues and business requirements.
Participates and contributes in the development of business requirements for new products and product enhancements.
Required Skills:
Strong Healthcare Technology and Domain expertise.

years of experience in Solution or Product architect roles - defining concepts, guidelines, business processes and policies to be followed.
Direct experience in the creation of architectural recommendation of large products/services geared towards solving Business problems.
Solid understanding of complex IT systems and software with a consistent knowledge of evolving and emerging technologies.
Prior experience with SaaS or cloud based solutions is a plus.
Direct experience in working with agile and distributed organizations both onshore and offshore.
An influential thought leader who has the ability to earn the trust and successfully lead distributed peer group in a matrix environment. Problem solving and decision making ability to forge together diverse teams of people with multiple perspectives and arrive at recommendations to pursue.
