Job Description:
Relevant Experience (Yrs):
At least 11
years of Information Management and Data Architecture experience
Technical/Functional Skills:
Expert level experience in implementing IBM Optim Suite of tools (IBM Optim, Infosphere Discovery, IBM Atlas Records Management & Legal Modules)
Experience of implementing archiving solution across large and complex organizations with responsibilities which include, but not limited, to the following:
Data Archiving using IBMs Optim product suite across multiple databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata etc.)
Gathering requirement documents for development of Archive Requests
Definition of Archive Approach/Methodology
Definition of restoration requirements
Definition of testing strategies
Complete environment setup
Required:
At least 11
years of Information Management and Data Architecture experience
Expert level understanding of OPTIM Suite of Tools IBM Optim, Infosphere Discovery, IBM Atlas Records Management & Legal Modules), Processes, and Coding and testing Scripts
Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural and solution definition stand point
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to interact at all levels of clients organizations
Very strong stakeholder management, interpersonal, presentation and written communication experience and skills
Preferred:
At least 8 years experience in OPTIM Tools , Processes, and Coding and testing Scripts
At least 6 years experience in Archiving from different Databases
At least 5 years experience in Data Masking
At least 5 years experience in Data Management
At least 4 years experience in DB2, Oracle, SQLServer orTeradata
At least 5 years experience in SQL Query and Performance tuning
Experience in working with Cognos reports

IBM Optim/Archiving Expert
Develop archive approach / methodology
Define the method for extracting, transforming, and loading data to the Optim tool
Design of the Data Access Layer architecture for each application,
Generic Managerial Skills:
Able to manage project execution, monitor and control.
Able to create status reports and present status to multiple stakeholders
Good Communication skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
