Our SDLC and toolset is highly collaborative and agile with industry leading practices such as wiki documentation, an issue tracking system, and distributed version control systems. This
position
is great for developers who want to work in a commercial SaaS (software as a service) product development environment and love to learn.
What you'll do:
Use well-honed, hands-on technical and leadership skills to successfully inspire small cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes. This includes collaboratively designing application features with product managers, creative designers and technical leads; as well as creating functional specifications and design documents.
Be a critical thinker and problem solver while considering technical and business needs, requirements and trade-offs. Calmly and objectively deal with challenges.
Be motivated and self-driven with great teamwork and collaboration skills to effectively lead projects from specification through release.
Use great communication skills to write clear specifications and to explain technical ideas and designs to peers and management. This includes making presentations, influencing decisions and navigating change.
Deliver high-quality, commercial software products that customers are delighted to use every day.
Skills
Experience:
We require strong technical experience in the following technology stacks:
PHP, Javascript, CSS, HTML on LAMP stack (a MUST)
.NET, C# Web and Windows Services and SQL Server
2 - 8 years of experience creating successful and useful commercial software products.
Strong knowledge of software architecture, programming practices and patterns.
Proficient in SQL with an understanding of relational database and schema creation.
Commitment to quality, customer service and teamwork.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills and the ability to influence decisions.
BS in
computer
Science or Engineering or related field preferred.
Experience with UI/UX design is a plus.
