Executive Communications Manager, Operations Risk Compliance

Amazon is looking for a Communications Professional to join Amazon's Operations Risk Compliance (ORC) Organization.
You will help drive internal communication campaigns for Directors, and executive-level, employee inclusion initiatives.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment with experience in corporate communications.
The ORC Global Comms Team is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Communications Manager to complete the team.
You will be a self-starter who can clearly formulate and communicate recommendations and plans to both peers and executives.
You will also be providing counsel and guidance to a wide variety of counterparts, and have a track record of exercising high-judgment while acting quickly.
To be successful in this role you should have experience working with high standards under tight deadlines.
Creativity and flexibility are a must.
Periodic travel is required.
This individual needs to be skilled in managing multiple priorities while working with a number of global stakeholders.
You will leverage various technology tools to look for data driven solutions.
These are typically internal-built solutions, lacking the full user and IT support you find with publicly available software.
Therefore, you'll be often expected to dive into their user guide and learn from practice.

o Utilize mechanisms to measure, evaluate, and report on the adoption, effectiveness, and business impact of all products.
o Work quickly and precisely under tight deadlines, and prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time o Strategize, write and evolve key messaging and plans o Work closely with functional and team leaders, HR, Legal, employee relations, program management and other internal groups to cohesively approach projects and activities o Build and execute plans, including communicating plans internally and securing leadership approval o Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges o Demonstrable excellent communication skills (written and verbal)A day in the life o Visually designing the layout and finalizing text for print and digital promotional posters.

o Producing amateur graphical designs for team and project logos, and webpages.
o Acting as writer, interviewer director, editor and/or producer for occasional editorial video stories.

o Creating and maintaining templates for typical email communications and Slack Messenger announcements.
About the teamThis role sits on the Operations Risk Compliance Global Comms Team, focused on driving regulatory and contractual compliance in Amazon's marketplace and retail operations.
The Comms Team is responsible for building scalable frameworks and solutions that promote ORC Global's cohesion, integration, and employee development.
This role will work with other communications professions and elected POCs who focus on function-specific materials.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
