Principal Product Manager, DSP Special Projects, DSP Product and Strategy

The Worldwide Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Product and Strategy organization is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead a special project to address last mile variability.

We're doing so by building a world class last mile operation capable of exceeding the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible by building a network of entrepreneurial owned and operated small businesses (called the DSP program).
To enable the program to scale in a sustainable way, Amazon is seeking an exceptional Principal Product Manager who will lead a new initiative with the charter to develop a new DSP model with advanced methods of variability and flexibility.
This is a new and a fast-growing space with loads of complexity due to the unique challenges of taking a tested model and innovating new ways of thinking for how DSPs can manage speed and volatility.
This individual will work with cross-functional teams to leverage best practices from various last mile channels using diverse technology to ideate, design, and launch this new DSP model.
The optimal fit for this role will be a candidate wanting to roll-up his or her sleeves, dive into a challenge, develop a solution and path forward by working with multiple stakeholders, and convince senior management that their solution is the best one.
This will be a high visibility global role, meaning that the optimal candidate will be comfortable driving critical business decisions in fast paced, high pressure, and often ambiguous environment, and elevating critical one-way door decisions to senior leadership.
A successful candidate will be customer focused, highly analytical, resourceful, a big thinker, a strong writer, and able to operate at all levels of the organization.
Any background in logistics, last mile, supply chain and/or experience in risk management and product management will be considered a plus.
Our organization is based in the US, but we support global operations across Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
Domestic and international travel will be required 10-20% of the time.

Bellevue, WA, USA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
