Sr. Operations Engineer, NASC Engineering
North America Sort Centers (NASC) Engineering is searching for an innovative and solutions-oriented Operations Engineer to join its efforts in developing and delivering next generation, world-class sortation and transportation processes and design standards.

In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external teams develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for our sortation and distribution systems.
You will be responsible for creating, managing, updating new standard documents for the space, equipment, and distances involved in every process path and package handling step within NASC.
You will own the knowledge and standard process for all of NASC and be a critical input and reference point for upstream design teams and downstream Operations support teams.
You will work with a team of highly skilled and highly engaged engineers in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment.
Our team works on hundreds of projects each year.
You will be challenged; you will learn; you will work on high impact, high visibility projects; You will grow.
Key job responsibilitieso Strong written and verbal communication skills and owning frequent presentations to senior leadership, L8+o Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
o Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality workspace innovations for people, MHE, and technology within NASC o Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
o Effective communication skills, ability to execute the vision, detailed roadmap, and specific technical solutions.
o Travel Requirements:
50%We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Austin, TX, USA Bellevue, WA, USA Nashville, TN, USA New York, NY, USA Pittsburgh, PA, USA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
