Sr. Program Manager, Cargo Programs & Initiatives, Amazon Air- Innovation, Technical & Business Ops

The Innovation, Technical and Business Operations organization within Amazon Air is seeking a motivated Program Manager to lead the cargo space, hold accountability across our matrix organization, and unlock operational capabilities to ensure successful, fast, and accurate delivery.
You will work cross-functionally to implement air and ground solutions to complex problems at global scale throughout the AIR supply chain.
Our organization is looking for a Program Manager to support business growth and lead the implementation of strategic cargo initiatives.

As Program Manager, you will be on a team that develops and implements new business offerings such as new transportation options, commercial initiatives, drive sustainable standard work, and partner across stakeholders to bring these to life and deliver results for customers.
Key job responsibilities- Influence leadership through continuous leadership communication- Create project roadmaps and ensure smooth and on-time execution- Utilize heavy project management tools and drive projects to closure- Work cross-functionally with aircraft, operations, and technical teams to launch new capabilities and use project management tools to inform progress, measure the impact of launches, and establish sustainable processes- Manage full lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations- Develop the overall program strategy within Innovation, Technical and Business Operations, tactically driving teams inside of your organization to deliver- Set objectives, analyze data, and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics- Work in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation potential, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons behind leadership decisions- Partner with teams across the business you support and beyond to source, allocate, and coordinate resources- Partner with customers to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order- Oversee gaps between teams, processes, and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.

, requirements not sufficiently understood or documented, ineffective cross-team collaboration, long-term impact(s) from third-party solutions, security not considered, insufficient stakeholder review, etc.
)- Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks)- Work with program managers, business leaders, and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives- Develop, implement, and govern key performance indicators (KPI) reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects- Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers- Roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality- Create, communicate, and manage budget for projects- Travel up to 20% domesticallyWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
