Sr Manager, Strategic Initiatives

The Global Logistics (GL) team is seeking an experienced leader to drive the our newly formed Strategic Initiative group as a Senior Manager, Product Management.
This individual will lead a small team that will lead our internal consulting/PE function, including managing engagements for cross-GL team projects and identifying new growth/adoption opportunities.
This leader will have an entrepreneurial mindset with a deep understanding of the logistics industry.
The role requires top tier written and verbal communication with deep collaboration across GL senior leadership to formulate comprehensive business strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Key job responsibilitiesResponsibilities will include:
- Drive ideation for GL adoption opportunities.
- Drive strategic planning, including industry analysis and competitor assessments, in-depth customer segmentation, and trend analysis to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
Look around corners to identify strategic imperatives.
- Collaborate with GL leadership to formulate comprehensive business plans and strategies for cross-team efforts that are aligned with meeting or exceeding organizational goals.
- Evaluate and enhance operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Oversee full consultancy engagement, including tracking and senior leader feedback mechanisms.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
