Sr. UX Researcher, Amazon Warehousing and Distribution

The Amazon Warehousing and Distribution team (AWD) is at the forefront of supply chain innovation, and is leading the next generation of marketplace and multi-channel storage and distribution services.
We are opening up a critical role for a Senior UX researcher to join our team, and lead the customer's perspective to shape the tools we build with our partnering product managers, developers, marketing teams, sales teams, and executives.
Key job responsibilitiesAs a UX researcher, you will work with AWD, its partnering orgs and the related research community to establish, maintain, and evolve longitudinal studies across our many customer domains.
Your expertise in quantitative methods and/or data science will contribute to the continuous improvement of UX insights and research operations, helping raise UX fluency throughout supply chain and our internal partners.
You will have significant opportunity to establish a UX research vision and impact in a fast-paced and data-driven environment.
Specifically, you:
Define the research strategy and roadmap for our longitudinal studies; Lead the execution of these studies; Collaborate with our marketplace partners to generate study materials, address risk, roadblocks, and constraints, as well as gather additional data points; Inform large-sized projects across teams and orgs Suggest, document, and implement new and improved research approaches, methods, and processes Mentor and assist others in implementing large and small portions of the end-to-end research process (e.

, forming objectives, observing sessions, analysis, reporting, dissemination of learnings) Collaborate with your team to build and maintain participant panels for specific niche user types; Define prioritization criteria and manageable customer segments Contribute to strategic communications, strategic efforts, and knowledge sharing in and outside of your org (e.

quarterly share outs, narratives, quarterly status, vision workshops, three year plans, etc.
) Build and network across research and design to continuously improve a robust and thoughtful approach to gathering actionable user insights at TRX and Amazon Contribute heuristic and user data feedback during design critiques and peer reviewsA day in the lifeYou will collaborate with other teams and designers to advocate on behalf of Amazon's supply chain partners.
You will ask the right questions (known and unknown) and synthesize and triangulate multiple data sources into comprehensible and holistic narratives.
You will uncover actionable insights, form clear recommendations, and share and document knowledge across teams and the organization.
You will create scalable mechanisms and set standards for operational best practices.
You will favor nimble, creative, and pragmatic solutions.
You will orchestrate multiple overlapping projects, so are good at juggling competing priorities and organizing your efforts and attention.
You will work quickly while delivering high-quality outputs.
About the teamWithin AWD, there is a small UX team, central to a larger initiative to consolidate tools shared over multiple orgs that have their own UX teams with researchers already participating towards the potential of AWD.
As a UX team we are inspired to think long term and create tools that not only consolidate the past successes of Amazon, but push forward on what could be the future.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
