SUMMARY OF POSITION The Accounts Receivable Specialist is primarily responsible for Accounts Receivable aspects of the business and for a range of accounting tasks.
Responsible for invoicing, maintaining aging, directing collection efforts, and maintaining accurate records at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES Provide superior customer service Process and review account and billing adjustments Progress billing based on WIP schedule value Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and manage customer communication to minimize overdue payments Resolve client discrepancies and short payments Daily posting to General Ledger for invoice and cash deposits Prepare and execute tax lien waivers Monthly sales tax report and maintenance Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements Work with Project Managers to address support collections issues Learn basic trade vocabulary QUALIFICATIONS Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel Possess written and verbal skills to communicate effectively and professionally with vendors, clients, and all employees; management and staff alike Proven experience managing priorities as workload, deadlines and circumstances change Experience working effectively as part of a team Proficient use of general ledger software (ComputerEase a plus) 2 years accounting experience, construction experience and AIA billing experience preferred Associates Degree preferred Notary License preferred BENEFITS Medical, dental, and vision for employee including qualifying dependents with premiums paid by the company Paid Sick Time Paid Vacation leave Eight Paid Holidays per year Optional 401(k) Retirement Savings Employer Paid Pension Plan Contribution of 3% of annual salary Paid Parental Leave for new parents Gym membership Bi-annual company events EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER Titan Electric is committed to providing equal employment opportunities.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
