Amazon's Last Mile Experience Design team is looking for a problem-solving, forward-thinking Senior UX Designer.
Our job on this team is to provide the best working experience for operations staff delivering billions of packages to customers every year.
We're looking for design leaders to bring radical thinking to both big-vision and fast-execution projects.
We work collaboratively to research customer behavior and needs, and define the customer experiences that meet them.
Key job responsibilitiesIn this role you will enable small business owners to thrive as entrepreneurs and delivery drivers to have an thriving and sustainable work experience - as they deliver billions of packages to Amazon customers worldwide.
You will work with talented product managers, software developers, and operations partners in an agile environment to develop product concepts, define requirements and priorities, build and launch to market.
You will frequently be in the field to talk to our customers, and test your design work.
Our design team is multi-disciplinary, and operates at an extremely interesting intersection of software, physical environments, logistics and service design.
You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
High judgment, customer obsession, ability to influence, and exceptional communication skills are essential to success in this role.
A day in the life- Contribute to the design of useful, usable, and desirable user interfaces and service design in a collaborative environment.
- Create user-centered designs by considering market segment analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings.
- Use business requirements and customer research to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements.
- Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of experiences.
- Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, click-throughs, and prototypes.
- Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications and design patterns.
- Present design work to user experience team, product team, and Amazon executives for review and feedback.
About the teamOur team of designers and researchers work collaboratively with our product partners to research customer behavior and needs, and create customer experiences that meet them.
This includes systems such as the Amazon Rabbit delivery platform, DSP 2.
0, and Delivery Station, as well as other systems supporting how addresses, geolocation, routing, and deliveries work.
The experiences we create are used by multiple businesses and product lines within Amazon, including Amazon Logistics, Prime Now, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Flex, Amazon Key, Lockers, I Have Space, Retail, and others.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bellevue, WA, USA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
