Senior Salesforce Systems Analyst - Remote at Symetra Financial in Bellevue, WA
Job Description Symetra has an exciting new opportunity to join our team as a Senior Salesforce Systems Analyst! About the role As our Sr. Salesforce Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for helping build, optimize, drive enhancements and maintain mission-critical applications that allow our business partners to proactively manage business processes. This individual, working under minimal general supervision as an individual contributor, will be expected to partner with others in designing and estimating development efforts based on high-level requirements; to evaluate functional and technical problems; and work effectively with business and technical subject matter experts, other systems analysts, developers, quality assurance analysts and third party vendors ensuring that deliverables are met. What you will do Translate user requirements Write technical specifications Work closely with development resources on use cases, flowcharts, and technical design. Participate in large system implementations. Accurately estimate and deliver assigned tasks. Analyze and streamline business processes through appropriate tools and methods. Help support developers and testers during system development to understand requirements. Provide procedural and technical guidance to the team to address the technical specifications. Help troubleshoot and perform problem resolution on most difficult problems. Utilize systems analysis and design tools and methodologies across multiple platforms. in systems analysis and design required 1-2years Administering Salesforce required Salesforce Administrator certification is strongly preferred Installing apps and Lightning component add-ons from the AppExchange strongly preferred Modifying page layouts using Lightning components is strongly preferred Workflow creation and modification in Salesforce Vendor Management Project Management/Managing a backlog Familiarity with Agile methodologies Strong understanding of SDLC Familiar with Gap Analysis methods and identifying recommendations to close gaps JSON Familiarity with at least one common programming language (SQL, PHP, Java, C#, Python etc.) Communities Portal administration Report & dashboard building in Salesforce Building applications within Salesforce SOQL Strong business and technical understanding of relevant technologies and systems. Track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high quality results. Self-motivated, with ability to work on two or more projects/tasks with little direction, and apply strong judgment and decision-making skills. Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of IT management, and create project level status reports. Accountability and ownership of technical requirements and work output. Adaptability, including dealing effectively with ambiguity. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work as an individual contributor, team member or lead for a small team. Extensive experience with solutions design and development of software requirements. Experience with workflow and process modeling. Background in Insurance, Investment or Financial business & systems preferred.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
