Job summaryAmazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Sustainability to support Amazon's Worldwide Operations Real Estate Building Design (WWBD) team.
The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for managing multiple sustainable building design work streams that reduce carbon emissions and improve the sustainability of Amazon's Global Operations facilities.
The WWBD Net Zero Carbon (NZC) Program has three primary work streams:
design standard updates, pilot projects, and transformational NZC building & site design projects.
This role will also be responsible to define new work streams for feasibility assessment of proposed NZC design opportunities, identification of potential pilot projects and sites, development of design guidance and enabling documentation to gain stakeholder trust and buy-in, and guiding new design standards through the change management process.

Responsibilities:
o Manage multiple sustainable building design work streams that reduce carbon emissions and improve the sustainability of Amazon facilitieso Lead cross-functional teams in an extremely fast paced environment that has a high degree of ambiguityo Coordinate and collaborate with a wide variety of internal operations, design, and engineering stakeholders to increase the sustainability, efficiency, and efficacy of the building design programo Demonstrate performance that serves as a model of excellence establishing sustainable building design best practices, business requirements, design team collaboration, and stakeholder alignmento Manage third-party vendors and technical consultantso Present and facilitate strategic and sustainable building design discussions with senior leadershipo Coordinate workshops that drive alignment on key issues for new building designs and initiatives to drive sustainability, the associate experience, operational efficiency, and reduction of first and lifecycle costso Drive development and compliance of Worldwide Building Design Standardso As a strategic advisor for the WWBD team, identify program gaps and scope new workstreams to accelerate the integration of NZC measures into the Worldwide Building Design Standardso Develop and present semi-annual NZC design strategy recommendations for each Global Operations business, and facilitate business leader approvals for design standard integrationo Coordinate with WWBD design program managers to track the status of building design templates and revision cycles; harmonize with NZC Program developmentso Coordinate with Global Operations stakeholders -- including sustainability points of contact, pre-construction, and construction management teams -- to identify highest impact NZC design measures and develop work-backwards plans to implement them via physical pilots and prototype projectso Establish workflows for tracking the carbon impact of NZC design measures on various building types across numerous site-specific projects and provide monthly/quarterly summaries for WWBD business reportingo Manage vendors in completing deliverables that meet Amazon quality standards and reporting progress of work completedo Support development of scopes of work and contract negotiations with vendors and present formal documentation for financial approval when requiredo Manage the development of NZC Program white papers, monthly newsletter development, and other resources that broadcast program updates to internal Amazon stakeholderso Support research and development of NZC building solutions which meet or exceed quality requirementso Drive value engineering and standardization across all aspects of the facilityKey job responsibilitiesThis role will ensure that key milestones related to the integration of net zero carbon (NZC) design measures into the global design standards are well defined, resourced, and achievable.
As an adept program manager, they will bring a depth of knowledge on scope development, vendor & technical consultant management, stakeholder coordination, and project performance reporting.
The Senior Program Manager will work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive the success of the WWBD NZC Program including support of corporate sustainability goals related to the Amazon Climate Pledge.
This role is part of a global team reporting to the WWBD NZC Program Manager.
About the teamWWBD supports most building design programs for Global Customer Fulfilment (GCF), Amazon Logistics (AMZL), Amazon Transportation Services (ATS), Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF), and Air in North America (NA), Europe (EU), and Emerging Countries (ECCF) including Latin America (LATAM), Asia Pacific (APAC), and Middle East & North Africa (MENA).
By the end of 2022, approximately 120 building types will be supported with design documents such as building design templates (used for build-to-suit), lite templates (reduced scope templates), design guidelines (design standards kit-of-parts for retrofits and/or building & site components), and design criteria (technical specifications).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
