Software Engineering Manager, Infrastructure - Reality Labs ResponsibilitiesBe both highly technical, hands-on coder and an effective people managerCommunicate across functions and drive engineering initiativesParticipate in technical designBe a subject matter expert in the infrastructure domainDefine and influence product strategyDevelop and support processes to maintain uptime, SLAs and availability of critical platform componentsMinimum Qualifications5
years of software engineering work experience, including hands-on technical management5
years experience coding in one of the following languages:
C++, Java, Python and/or PHPDemonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance managementBS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent2
years of experience managing engineering teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with CI/CD, software configuration management systems and/or source code version control systems like Git and Mercurial.
Experience in automation for consumer electronics.
