Discovery Bay at PRO Sports Club is seeking a Youth Instructor for our Licensed Child Care Center. Our program serves children ages 6 weeks to 8 years in center based setting. Teachers facilitate learning through fun, hands on learning activities and warm, caring interactions with children. Children also enjoy access to our state of the art facilities including swimming pools, basketball courts and children's activity gym.
Essential Job Functions:
Ability to supervise children and ensure safety of children in classroom settings
Ability to engage in warm, caring interactions and fun, imaginative play with children
Ability to implement positive guidance techniques and maintain classroom control
Ability to attend to children's basic needs for feeding, diapering, potty training, eating, etc. as needed in a timely manner
Ability to maintain a clean, orderly and safe classroom environment
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to be courteous, friendly, cooperative, and flexible on a daily basis
Ability to create an enthusiastic atmosphere and be self-motivated
Ability to listen, show empathy, and react positively to suggestions from members, co-workers, and management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Previous experience working with children
Current CPR/Infant CPR & First Aid Certification required (From either Red Cross or American Heart Association)
Food handler's permit
TB test results (results can be from up to 12 months prior to hire date)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
