Expedia Inc., is looking for a Product Designer to rethink the business travel space. Expedia Inc. has been building award winning iPhone and Android apps and is expanding its design team for its business travel brand, Egencia. The consumerization of the enterprise has created unique opportunities for Product Designers to revolutionize design for the enterprise user. We are hiring passionate and innovative Product Designers to help shape the next generation of mobile experiences for business travelers around the world.
Responsibilities:
Design amazing, pixel perfect, products
Provide creative insight, leadership for mobile products (iPhone, Android, iPad)
Deliver results in agile development environment
Provide insights on where user needs are not being met and innovate
Collaborate with business and technology teams to design great user experiences
Rationalize design decisions to stakeholders and peers
Coordinate and execute user research efforts (interviews, usability testing, surveys, etc.)
Consistently raise the bar for design standards through your work
Develop expert knowledge of industry, competitive, and complementary products
Qualifications:
5
years of design or relevant experience
2
years focused on native mobile app design
Full Stack Designer: Strong UI and Visual skills, Big picture UX and product design thinking, Interaction Design
Photoshop Expert
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, networking, presentation and negotiation skills
Demonstrated experience in online interaction design or information architecture, preferably e-commerce
Outstanding conceptual design skills and familiarity with high-level artifacts (scenarios, personas, flow diagrams, etc.)
Preferred:
Startup Design Experience
International experience
