Job Details:

The Charge Entry Coordinator enters the charges for outpatients cared for on the nursing floors. Conducts reviews of the charge entry forms completed by nursing staff to ensure they are consistent with nursing documentation and physician orders. Works with the coding dept and billing office to correct outpatient billing errors. Stays current on billing and coding rules and acts as an educational resource to the nursing staff and health unit coordinators.
Requires high school diploma or equivalent, and 2
years experience in a healthcare setting. Certified coder or LPN with an appreciation for focused detail work is preferred.
Full Time - Days (Monday - Friday)
